Arun Ramchand

Having grown up and spending most of his teenage years in Katong, Arun made the move to Australia from Singapore in 2006 when he decided to pursue his university studies on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

In 2013, Arun and his wife, Amrita, decided to move to the best city in Australia, Adelaide. The rest as they say is history.

7 years on, Arun and Amrita have 2 children whom they hope will gain an understanding of their Indian Singaporean roots.

Arun presently works within a state government statutory authority where he leads the brand and business development department.

Arun has 2 visions that he hopes to achieve during his tenure as President of SBSA. Firstly he hopes to bring Singaporeans in South Australia together to impart the culture to the next generation on what it is to be uniquely Singaporean and secondly for the association to be the conjugate for Singaporeans here and in Singapore wanting to venture into business in South Australia.
